Abstract: Mongolia, a country with a rich nomadic heritage, has been increasingly engaging in international trade. As globalization continues to shape the world economy, there is a growing need to balance economic development with ethical and sustainable practices. This thesis explores the intersection of the fair-trade movement and green development in Mongolia, analyzing the potential benefits for both local producers and the environment. The research aims to understand the current state of fair-trade practices in Mongolia and assess the environmental impact of existing trade activities. By examining the socio-economic and environmental aspects, this thesis seeks to contribute valuable insights into the integration of fair-trade principles and environmentally friendly trade practices in Mongolia.
