Investigation of fluid-phase endoctosis of drug carrier cylodextrins on human cancer cell lines.

Absztrakt

This research evaluates the endocytosis activity of nine specific cancer cell lines with two cyclodextrin derivatives: hydroxypropyl-B-cyclodextrin (HPBCD) and randomly- methylated-􏰃-cyclodextrin (RAMEB). However, it is challenging to study cyclodextrins without conjugating with a fluorescent dye. Furthermore, different types of fluorescent labeling (Fluorescein and Rhodamine) affect the physicochemical properties of cyclodextrins distinctively, leading to variances in the cancer cell uptake process.
