dc.description.abstract | This thesis is a literature review that focuses on a thorough investigation of basic properties of SHED, such as their genesis, isolation, and capacity for differentiation, while emphasizing their distinct benefits over alternative sources of stem cells. It explores the many therapeutic uses of SHED by providing a comprehensive assessment of the literature. These include systemic therapies for autoimmune, cardiovascular, and neurodegenerative diseases as well as dental tissue regeneration. | |
