The purpose of this study is to prove how important it is to choose from the most upto- date course books when teaching English in the classroom. My first hypothesis is that up-to-date course books apply recent theories of teaching reading while the out-of-date one relies on traditional methods. My second hypothesis is that all the three up-to-date course books I deal with take current approaches to teaching reading with equal elaboration.hu_HU
