dc.description.abstractMy thesis elaborates on the representation of female characters in the Marvel Universe mostly focuses on the film Black Widow. I wish to highlight the imbalances of genders in film industry by oversexualizing the female figures. To prove that, I examine the pioneer role of the movie Black Widow and the protagonist's character developement by viewing her and her sister as femme fatales. In the last chapter, I demonstrate the mistreatment of Black Widow in previous films and how she became the centre of the male gaze.hu_HU
