The aim of this thesis is to examine the cinematic representation of the experiences of the second-generation South Asian immigrants' experiences through the series Never Have I Ever and Ms. Marvel. In the thesis I examined the first generation's experience as well, and how different it is from their offspirngs' using the key terms and their definitions for the examination. In the second half of the thesis I examined the second generational's experiences and feelings and the rate of exaggeration by the American film industry.
