This thesis presents how stereotypes are formed about nation especially about the English nation. In the Introduction appears the question of Englishness and the identity crisis of the English nation. In the thesis I combined the typical stereotypes of English nation with humor and I chose one of representatives of English humor: Mr. Bean. In my opinion, in Mr. Bean series the issue of stereotypes are brilliantly parodied.hu_HU
