In my research different approaches towards U.S. foreign policy in the last decade are examined. Despite the different approaches to United States foreign policy, Presidents from Bush to Trump used the same rhetoric towards European allies and the situations in Syria and Afghanistan. Their specific bases on which the U.S policy makers rely include not only democratic values but also geopolitics and realism. This makes the U.S. not only the idealistic fighter for democracy, but also the great power seeking more power, control, and resources.hu_HU
