The purpose of this Thesis is to provide a firm understanding of The Good Friday Agreement and analyse its significance for the Northern Ireland peace process. Besides, the education system of the country is investigated in relation to the oppositions and also some methodological ideas are discussed including the possible application of a cultural or historical topic in the English lesson.
