In my thesis I will analyze the memoirs of two people who survived the Second World War lived in communist Hungary and left the country after the Revolution of 1956. Their memoirs give the reader an interesting overview of how they experienced the terror and racism toward them, the political changes, the revolution against Stalin and his regime, and the time when they had to leave their mother country.hu_HU
