This thesis encompasses the understanding and a thorough analysis of trigeminal neuralgia and its' various treatment options that have proven to be clinically significant in dealing with the debilitating symptoms that this condition proposes. Furthermore, the importance of precise diagnosis, comprehensive clinical investigations, neuro-imaging tests, and differential diagnosis has been explained in detail so as to understand how to move forward with the treatment options. This thesis also sheds light on surgical procedures, medications, and percutaneous procedures that prove to be viable choices for patients who are unresponsive to the medications.
