dc.description.abstractIn this paper, I set out to account the seemingly dissimilarities in focus usage in sentences between English and Hungarian languages. I assume that there are a lot of differences between Hungarian and English word order and word stress. I will show how Hungarian children and adults can handle focus. Usually they handle it in different ways. Children have DP-focus while adult have VP-focus.hu_HU
