    Diabetes involves the reduced production of insulin or reduced insulin sensitivity which are Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes respectively.A simple way to diagnose a patient with diabetes is to analyse the fasting blood glucose level and to perform an oral glucose tolerance test. In my paper, I discussed the new therapeutic methods used in their therapy. For Type 1 diabetes, the treatments are: replacing beta-cell shortage, Genetic vaccination, Transplantation of cells expressing genes against type 1 diabetes, Gene therapy,Antigenic tolerance induction. Cytokine blockade. For Type 2 Diabetes, some new drugs include: Steglujan Glyxambi Ryzodeg Alogliptin.
