Tétel Szabadon hozzáférhető A meta-analysis-based evaluation of metallic element accumulation in earthworms(2022) Tőzsér, Dávid; Mizser, Szabolcs; Karaffa, Katalin; Málik-Roffa, Hajnalka; Magura, TiborTétel Szabadon hozzáférhető Antropogén eredetű környezetterhelés tesztelése és szoftveres módszerek fejlesztéseMálik-Roffa, Hajnalka; Mizser, Szabolcs; Roffa, Hajnalka; Juhász-Nagy Pál Doktori Iskola; Debreceni Egyetem::Természettudományi és Technológiai KarA disszertáció három résztémát fog össze, amiket egységbe zár az antropogén hatások ökológiai célú elemzése. Ecological analysis of anthropogenic impacts are the central topics of the dissertation. The aim was to understand the effects of anthropogenic environmental stressors through field studies and literature data analysis, with attention to morphometric changes and trace element composition. I also created an easy-to-use, operating system-independent motion detection program (BugTracker) that is suitable for quantifying studies used in behavior analysis using the latest algorithms and help reduce the potential for human error. The trace element analysis of Silpha tristis specimens revealed significant differences in the case of male individuals from the contaminated area in terms of B, Ca, and Sr. We found significant differences in the symmetry of the stamps included in the fluctuating asymmetry analysis in the contaminated area. We also found significant differences in the parameters of the antennae and the first and third tibia (shank) among female individuals in terms of the contaminated area. In earthworm species included in the meta-analysis, accumulation of individual metal elements (As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, and Zn) was significantly higher in earthworms from contaminated soil than those from control areas.Tétel Szabadon hozzáférhető Are there personality differences between rural vs. urban-living individuals of a specialist ground beetle, Carabus convexus?(2021) Magura, Tibor; Mizser, Szabolcs; Horváth, Roland; Nagy, Dávid; Tóth, Mária; Csicsek, Réka; Lövei, Gábor L.Tétel Szabadon hozzáférhető Az Armadillidium vulgare (Latreille, 1804) (Crustacea: Isopoda: Oniscidea) toxikus elemtartalmának vizsgálata urbanizációs grádiens mentén(2015) Nagy, Leila; Mizser, SzabolcsTétel Szabadon hozzáférhető Changes in Morphometric Traits of Ground Beetles Along Urbanization Gradients(2020) Papp, Dalma; Mizser, Szabolcs; Nagy, Leila; Vidic, Andreas; Simon, Edina; Tóthmérész, BélaTétel Szabadon hozzáférhető Differences in life history traits in rural vs. urban populations of a specialist ground beetle, Carabus convexus(2021) Magura, Tibor; Mizser, Szabolcs; Horváth, Roland; Nagy, Dávid; Tóth, Mária; Csicsek, Réka; Lövei, Gábor L.Tétel Szabadon hozzáférhető Different extinction debts among plants and arthropods after loss of grassland amount and connectivity(2021) Deák, Balázs; Bede, Ádám; Rádai, Zoltán; Tóthmérész, Béla; Török, Péter; Nagy, Dávid; Torma, Attila; Lőrinczi, Gábor; Nagy, Antal; Mizser, Szabolcs; Kelemen, András; Valkó, OrsolyaTétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Edge effects on ground-dwelling beetles (Carabidae and Staphylinidae) in oak forest-forest edge-grassland habitats in Hungary(2014) Tóthmérész, Béla; Nagy, Dávid; Mizser, Szabolcs; Bogyó, Dávid; Magura, TiborTétel Szabadon hozzáférhető Functional composition of ant assemblages in habitat islands is driven by habitat factors and landscape composition(2021) Deák, Balázs; Báthori, Ferenc; Lőrinczi, Gábor; Végvári, Zsolt; Nagy, Dávid; Mizser, Szabolcs; Torma, Attila; Valkó, Orsolya; Tóthmérész, BélaTétel Szabadon hozzáférhető Holyvák válasza a mikroélőhelyek és a mozaikosság csökkenésére urbanizációs grádiens mentén(2015) Nagy, Dávid; Mizser, SzabolcsTétel Szabadon hozzáférhető Pollution intensity-dependent metal accumulation in ground beetles: a meta-analysis(2019) Tőzsér, Dávid; Magura, Tibor; Simon, Edina; Mizser, Szabolcs; Papp, Dalma; Tóthmérész, BélaTétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Recovery of ground-dwelling assemblages during reforestation with native oak depends on the mobility and feeding habits of the species(2015) Magura, Tibor; Bogyó, Dávid; Mizser, Szabolcs; Nagy, Dávid; Tóthmérész, BélaTétel Szabadon hozzáférhető Spider assemblages in floodplain forests along an urbanization gradient(2017) Tajthi, Bence; Horváth, Roland; Mizser, Szabolcs; Nagy, Dávid; Tóthmérész, BélaTétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Szárazföldi ászkarákok (Isopoda: Oniscidae) faunisztikai vizsgálata Kál térségébenLóczi, Zsolt; Mizser, Szabolcs; DE--Természettudományi és Technológiai Kar--Biológiai és Ökológiai IntézetA lakóhelyemet jelentő település, Kál környezetének az ászkarák faunisztikáját készítettem el néhány hatásvizsgálattal egybekötve. A legelők faj és egyedszáma szignifikánsan különbözik a két fás habitattól, a legelőn sokkal kevesebb egyed fordult elő A két fás élőhely is mutat különbségeket, leginkább a szezonális aktivitás terén. Őshonos tölggyel történő erdőtelepítésekben vizsgáltuk a futóbogár közösségek regenerációs dinamikáját. A jó kolonizációs képességű futóbogarak diverzitása az újonnan telepített élőhelyeken a legmagasabb, a nyílt élőhelyeket kedvelő, jó kolonizációs képességű fajoknak köszönhetően. We studied the distributional pattern of frequent carabid species along an urbanization gradient. The abundance of two forest specialist species (Carabus convexus, Pterostichus oblongopunctatus) decreased significantly from rural sites to urban sites. The abundance of the generalist species (Amara convexior) was higher in the urban sites than in the suburban and rural sites. The generalist species (Ophonus nitidulus) was significantly more abundant in the rural sites. Other frequent generalist species (Notiophilus rufipes, Pterostichus melanarius, Harpalus luteicornis, Pterostichus niger, Stomis pumicatus) showed no significant changes in abundance along the gradient. Canonical correspondence analysis showed that the studied species was correlated by the following environmental factors: ground temperature, air temperature, relative humidity, leaf little cover, cover of decaying wood, herbs, shrubs, and the amount of prey items. We also investigated the effects of urbanization on toxic element concentration in Carabus violaceus and Pterostichus oblongopunctatus specimens along an urbanization gradient. Significantly higher concentration was found in P. oblongopunctatus specimens than in C. violaceus for all studied elements, except Sr. We found significant differences in elemental concentrations between sexes in both species. Significantly higher Cu and Pb concentration was found in male beetles than in female ones. Just the opposite was true for the Sr concentration. Our study confirms that different breeding strategies and sexes cause differences in the accumulation of toxic elements. We investigated phoretic mite infection of Carabus violaceus in rural forest patches and urban forested parks. We trapped altogether 199 C. violaceus individuals (101 in the rural forest patches and 98 in the urban parks). There were 250 phoretic mite individuals on the C. violaceus representing two species (Poecilochirus carabi, Macrocheles glaber). We found 224 mite individuals in the rural forest patches, and 26 in the urban parks. The prevalence, mean abundance, mean and median intensity of phoretic mites were significantly higher in the rural forest patches, than in the urban parks. We studied the recovery of ground-dwelling assemblages during a reforestation. The overall number of the ground beetle individuals and species richness were significantly the highest in the 5-year-old reforestation. The elevated overall number of ground beetle individuals and species richness in the 5-year-old reforestation were due to the colonization of good disperser open-habitat species. The number of forest-associated ground beetle individuals and species richness were significantly the lowest in the 5-year-old reforestation, whereas from 15 years after the reforestation, when the canopy has been closing, there was no significant difference in the number of forest species. Results of both the ordination and the quantitative character species analysis (IndVal) suggested that reforestation with native oak after mechanical soil treatment had detrimental effects on carabid assemblages. The diversity and composition of ground beetles with high dispersal ability and less specific feeding habit recovers after the closure of the canopy.Tétel Szabadon hozzáférhető Urbanization reduces gut bacterial microbiome diversity in a specialist ground beetle, Carabus convexus(2024) Magura, Tibor; Mizser, Szabolcs; Horváth, Roland; Tóth, Mária; Likó, István; Lövei, Gábor L.
