    Obesity among adolescents has been becoming one of the major public health encounters worldwide. Philippines is amongst one of the countries experiencing ‘nutrition transition’; with co-existing double-burden of malnutrition and non-communicable diseases. There have been long lines of publications pertaining to double burden of diseases related to obesity but fewer studies engrossed focusing about the Philippines alone.
