In my thesis paper, I wish to argue that the development of paranoid fear In the US was due to the events of the Cold War, which were presented by the American government as events of an ongoing battle, against the Communist Empire. The main objective of the US government was to secure capitalism and do whatever necessary to prevent the spread of communism in the United States and other countries around the globe.
