The aim of my work is to find social, historical and personal episodes from Queen Elizabeth’s life connected to her different residences. These curiosities at times are trifles and other times momentous. But the tiniest thing can be interesting for those who read and hear it for the first time. There is no doubt my collection is only a drop among the many descriptions and chronicles on Elizabeth I but I still hope it will be a pleasurable reading.
