Although Iraq posed no threat to the United States after the Gulf War, President George W. Bush charged Iraq for supporting terrorist attacks and used War on Terror as a device to declare a war against Iraq. This war made unnecessary sacrifices considering American soldiers and civilians, as later it was proved that Iraq had no nuclear or biological weapons which posed a threat to the United States.
