The main aim of this thesis paper is to define the place of the most significant novels of the genre, Interview with the Vampire in the literary criticism and compare it with its film adaptation through the deep analyzing of different interpretations of the novel, and also of the film adaptation on the basis of appearances of characters, settings, omitted and added scenes.
