Persistent müllerian duct syndrome is a rare disorder that effects sexual development .İt is seen in genetically males(46XY).İt is characterized as persistence of müllerian duct structures (fallopian tubes,uterus and upper 2/3 of vagina).However external genitalia is normally virilized ,so it is considered as pseudohermaphrodism.Patients that suffer from PMDS have complains with fertility and represents to medical attention with cryptorchidism and inguinal hernia generally in childhood or adulthood.
