Pharmacotherapy of Parkinson`s disease
Absztrakt
There are several drugs which are effective in symptomatic management of Parkinsons disease However there is no definitive pharmaceutical therapy for Parkinson
s disease. Drugs used in symptomatic management of Parkinson`s disease include : dopaminergic agents such as levodopa/carbidopa and dopamine-agonists (ropinirole, pramipexole), monoamine oxidase type B inhibitors (selegiline, rasagiline), catecholo-methyltransferase inhibitors (entacapone, tolcapone), anticholinergic agents, amantadine plus alternative therapies and investigational agents.
