This thesis is dedicated to the migration process in the European Union since Maastricht Treaty. The objective of this thesis is to define the scope and characteristics of migration and migration policy in the EU since Maastricht Treaty. The research question of is to define the shape of migration process in the European Union since Maastricht Treaty with focus on both intra-EU migration and migration from third countries.
