History and development of Capitalism in Russia. After the dissolution of the USSR, Russia began a transition to market economy from central planning. This resulted in a unique type of capitalistic structure and mix of several types of capitalism. Moreover, this structure differs from one industry to another. In the end, we can see that state-guided capitalism and oligarchic capitalism is the dominant forms in the economy.
