Exploring the observed effects (both positive and adverse) of religious beliefs and practices on health /health care in Nigeria. Nigeria is a heavily religious country in West Africa with multi-religious practices and this will the relationship between those practices and health outcomes. The most susceptible groups affected by these practices are children, women, and mentally ill people. It also describes how Religious practices can be used as coping mechanisms leading to better health outcomes.
