The thesis details early attachment through a cross-cultural lens. The different factors that contribute to the quality of attachment between a caregiver and an infant and how it sets the social tone of the adult they become. It discusses how crucial it is to have culture incorporated into the attachment theory. Detrimental consequences of attachment problems are also a part of this thesis. These consequences last a lifetime for some.
