In the Democratic Republic of Congo, the situation about diabetes is alarming now than it was in the last three decades. The prevalence of diabetes is higher in urban cities than in rural areas. The aim of this investigation is to evaluate the quality of chronic care in Kinshasa and to assess the effectiveness of long-term care on outcomes.
