Removal of gutta-percha root canal filling

Abstract

In this thesis, description and comparing is made between different methods for removal of gutta-percha root canal filling. Methods that are described are hand instruments, rotary instruments, solvents, ultrasonic, laser and thermal. All of these methods can be used by themselves but its preferable that a combination of different methods is used as it gives better results.
