Big Data, Public Health and Ethics
Absztrakt
A literature review showing the applications, use and concerns regarding the use of big data in health from an ethical perspective. There has been a marginal increase in the discussions of ethical concerns in the past decade. this highlights the major concerns as privacy, informed consent, confidentiality, data ownership and justice, to name a few. Technology today makes it easy to gather information and apply it for healthcare research. Big data has shown how invaluable it is to public health.
