In my thesis I will argue that the 1890’s version of the tale Little Red Riding Hood as published in the book Red Riding Hood and Cinderella in edition of DeWolfe, Fiske, and Co (The University of Southern Mississippi) is a diverse and useful EFL educational material for Hungarian secondary school students. My arguments are based on my teaching experience and a sequence of self-created creative tasks which were carried out with my intermediate English language group in the 11th year at the Secondary School for Art in Nyíregyháza.
