Breast cancer is a significant global health issue due to its high prevalence worldwide. Today, common surgical options include mastectomy, oophorectomy, Breast- conserving surgery, axillary lymph node dissection or biopsy, and post-oncologic Breast reconstruction. Deciding on a procedure depends on the size of the tumor, the extent of radiological changes in the breast, the anticipated cosmetic outcomes, the patient’s candidacy for radiation treatment, patient’s fears of recurrence and personal preferences. radiation therapy is frequently utilized in the adjuvant treatment of breast cancer to eliminate any remaining cancer cells. Chemotherapies routinely used in clinic include DNA-damaging anthracycline- and nonanthracycline-based drugs, as well as non-DNA damaging taxanes. Regarding endotherapy drugs SERMs (e.g., Tamoxifen, Raloxifene), SERDs (e.g., Fulvestrant) and AIs (such as Letrozole), are commercially available and used in neoadjuvant and adjuvant regimes. The most well-known targeted treatment is Trastuzumab (Herceptin), a humanized anti-HER2 monoclonal antibody.
