This thesis explores the role of creative writing in fostering language development and motivation among primary school ESL students. It examines how engaging students in creative writing activities, particularly through the Tre(e)mendous Tales eTwinning project, enhances their English language skills. By connecting creative expression with environmental awareness, the project encourages students to observe, imagine, and communicate in English. The thesis highlights the impact of such activities on students’ creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating how creative writing can serve as an effective tool for both language acquisition and the development of social competencies.
