The stories, tales, myths and films about people symbolically paraphrase the psychological knowledge, the experience of life and the most extreme situations of mankind and they can serve as simple practical guides or profound wisdom. They give us joy and satisfaction because via the imaginary characters we can re-experience certain events, and the “distant” personifications facilitate the emotional acceptance of the tough situations. Stories are like mirrors of the human souls from which we can read the deep human psyche, its secrets and rules. Fear is an absolutely normal emotional response, it is the part of human condition and an essential element of life. However the fear, we experience while we are watching a movie means more than that: it protects us from certain circumstances we would pay with our lives for, and in some cases, it teaches us how to manage in emergencies and how to choose the most proper behaviour.
