dc.description.abstract	A dolgozat problémafelvetése három diszciplína: filozófia, antropológia és az egészségtudományok keresztmetszetében helyezhető el. Az írás egyfajta öndefiníciós kísérletként értelmezhető, melynek során e három tudásterület ontológiai, episztemológiai és normatív különbözőségeinek feszültségterében próbálja megvilágítani azt a pozíciót, ahol az interkulturális tapasztalat értelemteli módon elhelyezhető. Az interkulturalitást egyúttal, mint módszertani eszközt használja a kutatás a medicina egynémely aspektusának interpretív antropológiai szempontú elemzéséhez. Felvázolja a geertzi interpretív antropológiában munkálkodó filozófiai hermeneutikai összefüggéseket, majd rámutat arra, hogy hermeneutika és antropológia belső egymásravonatkozása az idegenség centrális koncepciójában ragadható meg: míg előbbi elsősorban a történeti idegenséget próbálja megszelídíteni, utóbbi a térbelit, vagyis a kulturálisan távoli, idegen világok érthetővé tételén fáradozik. A gadameri hermeneutika vonatkozó gondolatmeneteinek elemzésével arra konkludál, hogy a történeti idegenséget és a kulturális idegenséget hermeneutikailag meg kell különböztetni egymástól, az időhorizontok átjárhatóságának a hagyománytörténésben megalapozott gadameri koncepciójából nem következik ugyanilyen módon a kultúrahorizontok átjárhatósága, vagyis a szociokulturális Másik, vagy az empirikus idegen megragadhatósága. Ennek folyományaként a horizontösszeolvadás ismert koncepciója sem alkalmas a szakirodalomban bevett módon a kulturális idegenség megértésére, ugyanakkor a tulajdonképpeni dialógusban megalapozott nyelviség gadameri elképzelése utat nyit az interkulturális megértés felé. A medicina világára, értelmezésmódjaira ezután az interpretív orvosi antropológia szemüvegén keresztül tekintve és az idegenségtapasztalatot módszertani szempontból hasznosítva a dolgozat felvázolja az egészségügyben megjelenő, interkulturalitás által támasztott kihívásokat. Ezek közül kitüntetett helyen az orvos-beteg találkozást, mint interkulturális eseményt azonosítja és két távoli világ találkozásaként írja le. E találkozásban rejlő problémák megoldásához bemutat néhány, széles körben használatos kompetencia alapú modellt, majd a gadameri filozófiai hermeneutika vonatkozó elemzését hasznosítva felmutatja ezek elégtelenségét vázolva egyúttal a tulajdonképpeni dialogicitásban megalapozott megoldási javaslatát. The origination of the problem in this piece of work lays in the intersection of three disciplines: philosophy, anthropology and health sciences. It may be understood as an attempt to self-definition amongst the tension drawn from the ontological, epistemological and normative differences of these fields. In doing so, it tries to shed light on the position where the experience of interculturality appears intelligible in this space. At the same time, interculturality is taken as a methodological tool to analyse some aspects of medicine from an interpretive anthropological perspective. It delineates the philosophical hermeneutical implications of interpretive anthropology and points out that the mutual inner relatedness of hermeneutics and anthropology can be identified in the central concept of strangeness: the former tries to tame the historical strangeness, the latter attempts to elucidate spatial, so cultural strangeness. The research concludes by the analysis of the related Gadamerian hermeneutical concepts that historical and cultural strangeness have to be hermeneutically distinguished. From the penetrability of temporal horizons grounded in the concept of the act of tradition, it does not drive the penetrability of cultural horizons, i.e. understanding of the sociocultural Other, or the empirical stranger. Drawing from this, the concept of the fusion of horizons – contrary as often stated in the literature – does not serve as an appropriate conceptual tool for understanding cultural strangeness. The concept of true dialogue, however, in Gadamer’s linguistic theory opens up the possibility towards intercultural understanding. Applying the lenses of interpretive medical anthropology and having use of interculturality as a methodological tool in understanding medicine and its explanatory models, this work features the challenges posed by interculturality in the realm of health care. Amongst them, it highlights the physician-patient relationship and identifies it as a genuine intercultural event: a meeting of two distant worlds. To the resolutions of the problems encoded in this meeting it drafts some widely used cultural competency-based models and points out their necessary inadequacy in addressing this problem. Instead of them, it suggests a resolution grounded in Gadamer’s true dialogue concept.	hu_HU
