dc.description.abstractThis Thesis discusses and evaluates the most important personality and other factors affecting second language acquisition, the related issues, and the situation in secondary schools in the north-eastern region of Hungary. It consists of five main chapters, the first one of which is an introduction of the topic. The second chapter reviews the literature on this theme. By seeing what has been written so far about the most determinant factors, we are familiarised with current viewpoints and related issues.
