The thesis presents a comparative analysis of three primary hydrogen production methods which are Steam Methane Reforming, Coal Gasification and Electrolysis. The study aims to examine the characteristics and research advancements of each method. It also access the economic costs, evaluate their environmental impacts, with a focus on carbon emissions of each method for sustainable hydrogen production. This thesis delves into the relationship between renewable energy and economic dynamics within the realms of business study. With a keen interest on renewable energy economics and sustainable development principles, the thesis offers valuable insights for policymakers and businesses seeking to understand and leverage the transformative power of renewable energy in shaping future economies.
