This thesis analyses the work life balance model, and its effects on the work force within the service industry. It brings to light the dilemma of inside-the-home work being discounted in the discussion surrounding harmony within the soul. A substantial quantity of data was utilized when researching, comparing, and creating this study. Among these was conducted an empirical study of the service industry within Debrecen, Hungary. Its findings bringing to light, with observational evidence a stark contrast between those that do more inside-the-home work, and those that do less, or none. It is found that a new model, or formula must be engendered, and used to better measure the quality of life within any given region, or sector.hu_HU
