Histological and Immunohistochemical Features of Malignant Breast Neoplasms
Absztrakt
Overall, breast cancer is a major concern globally for the female population with rising incidence and mortality over time. Several types of risk factors influence the development and progression of this disease. Pathology plays an important role in understanding the true nature of breast cancer at a cellular level as well as the examination of specific cell properties through histopathological and immunohistochemical studies. This has aided in the classification of breast cancer, determining the severity and progression, establish a definitive diagnosis, generate specific therapies and thus understand the truly complex nature of this disease.
