antiarrhythmic pharmacotherapy during SARS-COV-2 pandemic
Absztrakt
This thesis offers a review of antiarrhythmic drugs with an emphasis on antiarrhythmic therapy during SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Includes the general mechanisms causing arrhythmias with and without SARS-CoV-2 infection. in addition, drug-drug interactions between antiarrhythmics and drugs used in COVID-19 therapy are demonstrated, and the option of repurposing antiarrhythmic drugs for use against SARS-CoV-2 is discussed as well. to sum up, this is a comprehensive review of the pharmacological aspects of treating patients suffering from both rhythm abnormalities, and COVID-19.
