The Study of the Family Background as a Source of Motivation in Foreign Language Learning

Absztrakt
The purpose of this study is to analyze how the family background of the motivated learners can be a source of motivation in contrast with the family background of the unmotivated learners. Two groups of Gyula Farkas Educational Institute which is in Békés take a motivation survey. Each group includes 16 members. On the basis of its results the students are put into two groups: motivated and unmotivated students. A questionnaire about the learners’ family background is used in order to make comparisons and conclusions.
