In the colloquial Hungarian language, there is an emerging pattern including the loss of the illative case together with the definite article. In my thesis, I provide a literature review of all the related grammatical features of Hungarian, including the Hungarian DP and the Hungarian case system presenting the relevant case suffix endings and verbal particle constructions. Then, I introduce the emerging linguistic construction, and I explain the methodology of the experiment. In the following section, I present the findings of the research concerning several aspects of the novel nominal structure. In the conclusion section, I discuss the constraints of the construction and further aspects of the emerging pattern that could also be examined.
