dc.description.abstractAz értekezés Borbély Szilárd költészetének tükrében térképezi fel és gondolja tovább az irodalom és a fenomenológia közötti párbeszéd lehetőségét, valamint azokat a tematikus metszéspontokat is igyekszik megvilágítani, ahol a két terület összekapcsolódik és kölcsönösen reflektál egymásra. A vizsgált művek kiválasztását nem csupán fenomenológiai szempontok alakítják, hanem egy tematikus szerveződés is meghatározza. Az értekezés középpontjában olyan szövegek állnak, amelyek az itt-létet alapvetően a tapasztalati horizont, a szubjektív testélmények felől faggatják, és amelyekben a holokauszt művészeti reprezentációja, valamint a tanúsítás problémaköre egyaránt előtérbe kerül. Az így meghatározott keresztmetszet értelmében értekezésemben A Testhez – Ódák és Legendák (2010) elemzésére helyezem a hangsúlyt, ugyanakkor fenntartom az életművön belüli intertextuális kapcsolódások interpretációs lehetőségét és szükségességét. Az értekezés első fejezetében azt a kérdést járom körül, hogy milyen módon jelenik meg Borbély Szilárd költészetében – akár rejtett formában is – a test mint (fenomenológiai) alapprobléma. E fejezet elemzései új olvasati lehetőséget kínálnak a költői nyelv és a test kapcsolatának értelmezésében, s egyúttal hozzájárulnak az általában két korszakra osztott lírai pálya összetettebb megértéséhez. Tézisem szerint a test motívuma Borbély Szilárd életművének korai szakaszában is mélyebb társadalmi kérdések hordozójaként van jelen és költői világának szinte egészét átható ontológiai dimenzióvá szélesedik. Borbély testpoétikája nem csupán lehetőséget ad, hanem szükségessé is teszi a fenomenológiai megközelítés alkalmazását. Az értekezés második fejezetét annak a kérdésnek szentelem, hogy miként jelenik meg a holokauszt narratívája A Testhez és a Halotti Pompa (2006) című kötetekben, különös figyelmet fordítva a tanúsítás problémkörére. Míg A Testhez legendái esetében a holokauszt-irodalommal kapcsolatban felmerülő alapvető témákat és problémákat elemzem (kezdve a megjelenítő nyelv kudarcától, a tanúsítás megvalósulásának lehetőségén/lehetetlenségén át, a befogadó affektív [etikai] viszonyulásáig), addig a Halotti Pompában a „jóvátehetetlen jóvátétel” poétikai megnyilvánulásának aspektusait vizsgálom. A második fejezet elemzései – a reszponzív fenomenológiai hagyomány legfontosabb alapvetéseit figyelembe véve – konstitutív elemként kívánják integrálni a testi-affektív dimenziót a tanúsítás hermeneutikájába, ezzel teremtve kapcsolatot a test és a tanúsítás között. A fejezet központi gondolata, hogy a megélt test kulcsszerepet játszik a tanúsítás etikájában, mivel a valódi megértés nem a tudat vagy a teoretikus gondolkodás szintjén, hanem inkább a pre-reflektív érzékenység szintjén artikulálódik. A tanúságtevők elbeszéléseivel való találkozás affektív hatásai olyan etika irányába mutatnak, amely képes ténylegesen autentikus tanúvá avatni az olvasót. A tanúsítás etikája ebben az értelemben nem valami tanult, külső hatásokból eredő viszonyulás eredménye, hanem a megélt testből fakadó idegentapasztalat, amely a tanúk által való érintettség nyomait hordozza magán.
dc.description.abstractThe thesis explores and further develops the possibility of dialogue between literature and phenomenology in the light of Szilárd Borbély’s poetry, while also aiming to illuminate the thematic intersections where the two fields connect and mutually reflect upon each other. The selection of the works examined is shaped not only by phenomenological considerations but also by a thematic organization. The dissertation focuses on texts that approach the concept of being-there fundamentally from the experiential horizon and subjective bodily experiences, in which both the artistic representation of the Holocaust and the issue of testimony come to the forefront. In this regard, my dissertation places emphasis on the analysis of A Testhez – Ódák és Legendák (To the Body – Odes and Legends) (2010), but it also maintains the interpretive necessity of intertextual connections within Borbély’s oeuvre. In the first chapter of the dissertation, I explore the question of how the body appears in Szilárd Borbély’s poetry – even in hidden forms – as a (phenomenological) fundamental issue. The analyses in this chapter offer new interpretive possibilities for understanding the relationship between poetic language and the body, while also contributing to a more complex understanding of his generally divided two-phase poetic career. According to my thesis, the motif of the body is present in the early phase of Borbély's oeuvre as a carrier of deeper social issues and expands into an ontological dimension that permeates almost the entirety of his poetic world. Borbély's body poetics not only allows but also makes the application of the phenomenological approach necessary. The second chapter of the dissertation is dedicated to the question of how the narrative of the Holocaust appears in A Testhez and Halotti Pompa (Funeral pomp) (2006), with particular attention given to the issue of testimony. While in A Testhez, I analyze the fundamental themes and problems arising in relation to Holocaust literature (ranging from the failure of the representational language, the impossibility of testimony, to the affective [ethical] response of the recipient), in Halotti Pompa, I examine the aspects of the „irreparable reparation” as a poetic manifestation. The analyses in the second chapter, considering the key premises of the responsive phenomenological tradition, seek to integrate the bodily-affective dimension as a constitutive element in the hermeneutics of testimony, thus establishing a connection between the body and testimony. The central idea of this chapter is that the lived body plays a key role in the ethics of testimony, since true understanding is articulated not on the level of consciousness or theoretical thinking, but rather on the level of pre-reflective sensitivity. The affective impact of encountering the testimonies of witnesses points toward an ethics that can genuinely transform the reader into an authentic witness. In this sense, the ethics of testimony is not the result of a learned or externally derived attitude, but the experience of the body itself, which carries the traces of being touched by the witnesses.
