Economic Freedom and Human Development in Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam
Absztrakt
Economic freedom promotes per capita Gross Domestic Products (GDP), will it be good for human well-being? In a developing world, especially in a conflict-torn region, people are facing so many miserable problems such as their lands being grabbed by the government for the reason of country development, low and less accessible to a healthy social welfare system because of limited to potential human resources. Thus, does higher Economic freedom (EF) promote higher Human Development? Does a higher Economic Freedom (EF) ranking result in a better Human Development Index (HDI)? Does history of Economic Freedom affect the outcome of Human Development Index?
