Opportunities and Practices for Sustainable Consumption in Hungary and Azerbaijan
Absztrakt
In my thesis I aimed to research how to implement sustainability into consumption behaviors in order to achieve sustainable development. For this purpose, I decided to examine sustainable consumption behaviors in two different countries - Hungary and Azerbaijan. I carried out two questionnaire surveys which gave me an opportunity to gather information directly from consumers in both countries, as well as, to analyze and compare the results adequately. By this method, I managed to research the familiarity of people with responsible consumption, their sustainable consumption habits, the main factors which influence their decisions and behaviors, satisfaction level with sustainable consumption practices and importance of awareness of responsible consumption for respondents in both countries.
