The Recruitment processes has a positive impact on the performance of an organisation. This research examines the online recruitment of companies in Hungary and Nigeria to determine if there are any similarities and differences in their recruitment processes and job advertisements. To analyse the methods of recruitment in the two countries, information from the most frequently used online recruitment sites were selected and job postings from twenty companies each from both countries were reviewed. This analysis has shown that there are similarities and differences in the recruitment in both countries and that these companies generally request for job applicants to have at least a university or college degree and some years of experience to be considered a potential employee of the company. On this basis, it is recommended that companies consider these similarities and differences and make adjustments to their recruitment process where necessary. Future research of the recruitment process in more than two countries is needed to conclude absolutely the similarities and differences across the globe.hu_HU
