dc.description.abstract | The role of antibiotics is essential for treating diseases however overuse and overprescribing causes the pathogens to build up resistance. Overtime our current regime will have minimalistic or even adverse effects. Antibiotics covered in this thesis are colistin, carbapenems and vancomycin. The future goal is the create a therapy which will not allow pathogens to develop resistance while still being easy to administer. In our current era, we adhere to protocol to treat as many patients with any ongoing infections until we develop new methods for higher efficacy. | hu_HU |
