Anticoagulants & perioperative management of orally anicoagulated patients
Absztrakt
Anticoagulants are prescribed for diseases carrying a thromboembolic risk. In clinical practice it is challenging to keep a good balance between their benefits and adverse effect. In cases where a procedure is needed, this complexity is even more significant. In order to take a good decision, a physician must assess the patient's individual thromboembolic risk and the procedural bleeding risk.
