This paper aims to tell the story of the Cuban missile crisis from the Soviet perspective, starting from the deliberate deceit of the Americans and the process of missile deployment; and mentioning, among other things, vital documents and secret authorizations of nuclear weapon use. The thesis reviews the memoirs of key Soviet politicians and army officers, and concludes with the first-hand account from the highest authority, Premier Nikita Khrushchev.hu_HU
