| dc.description.abstract | Since America is one of the leading superpowers of the world, everybody has certain preconceptions about its land, democracy and people. Most of us have heard about phrases concerning America such as “Melting Pot”, “American Dream”, “City Upon a Hill”, “Manifest Destiny”, “Salad Bowl” or the “Promised Land”. The judgments about America and its nation, if there is such, are more or less based on these myths and images mentioned above. (Introduction) | hu_HU |
