Occupational burnout is a syndrome resulting from chronic work-related stress.Burnout syndrome seems to be quite prevalent amongst health care personnel where the work environment, personality trait of individuals in this field along with other factors contribute towards the arising of this issue. The consequences are hazardous not only on the affected individuals but also on health care system.
