dc.description.abstractIn parallel with the shaping of the well-known, conventional methodologies the use of technology began to appear in education as well. Exploiting the potentials of computers in language teaching and learning started to become a major issue and led to the formation of a field, called computer-assisted language learning (CALL). The main concept of this was to introduce computers in language teaching and language learning: to outline new ideas and methods, to develop programs and tools that facilitate learning and later, to turn other existing ones (not necessarily created for language teaching and learning purposes) to the learners’ advantage, let alone one of the most crucial factors, that is, to find out how to integrate computer use in these respects into the long-established educational environments.hu_HU
